I am Back (I think)
I have been reading the recent post and trying to catch up with everyone.
I have to retake my insurance exam for the state of Ga. It is my understanding not many people pass the test the first time...I have to wait 2 weeks.
I did get my temp license that is good for 6 months and that makes life a little easier and pay checks will start. I also made my first policy last week and that was exciting for me. I am waiting for time to pass so I can make some appointments for tomorrow.
The 4th will be busy here. We have at least 2 sets of company coming to see the fireworks over the lake and go fishing.
I hope everyone has a safe 4th.

Thanks Marilyn;
I went out today and wasted my time, I have to go back tomorrow.
I did stop at the local butcher shop and got fresh ground beef and sausage to use over the weekend with my 4th of July company. Then I was told of a place that would sell me corn...I came home with 2 crates and I have already cut the ends of the cobs off and put 11 bags of corn on the cob in the freezer. In case you guys do not know how to do this and want to be "BAD" microwave an ear of corn with the shucks on it for 4 minutes wrapped in a paper towel....OH MY GOODNESS, especially if it is silver queen or white sweet corn......nothing so good and so yummy. Also...right now, we have 5 watermelons in our refrigerator chilling.....and 5 slabs of ribs....
Hope all of you have a great 4th of July!!!!!!!!!

Wow Martha! You really know how to put on a feast. We don't get really good corn out here in the desert so I'm jealous. I grew up in the midwest and was used to getting fresh sweet corn. the stuff we get here is more like the stuff we used to feed the cows when I was a kid. Have a great 4th and enjoy your company.
