Chiming in late as I was on the road at 6am on Friday, so:
1. Grateful that I can put this body on my horse and not hurt her because of my weight!
2. Grateful that there are people on this earth who can actually say, "I love Maureen Boyd."
3. Grateful that my Dad is still with me.
Love you guys. Maureen
Back from the wedding. It was awesome. We dance all night. There was a buffet of the most wonderful food! I was good and even had 1/2 a slice of wedding cake. It was ok. I was more thrilled with the fantastic prime rib and very moist chicken! It was held right off the ocean in old saybrook at a very nice place.
here are the things i'm thankful for everyday and today
1. that i was able to have the surgery that has let me be able to live normally as a thin person and Dance!
2. cookies i'm always thankful for cookies but I'm extremely thankful that I am able to control the eatting of cookies for most of the time.
3. im thankful for my pillow which i'm heading for right now.
I can fill a book with all I am grateful for.
I'm grateful for my wonderful family and friends. No matter how hard I work when they come here for cookouts, it is always worth it.
My health. Being able to move my body the way I want, without feeling tired and embarrassed.
My bills are paid, there is a roof over my head, and I live with the most wonderful man in the world. There is healthy food on the table and I know when to stop eating it.
My kids. Jared, who has graduated from college, lives in Atlanta, has a great job, is independent, and getting ready for law school. Lindsey, my quirky city girl, who is talented beyond her own imagination, film studies/theater major who is fluent in American Sign Language, and has an amazingly good head on her shoulders. I may not have done everything right in this life, but thankfully I have great kids.
My friends---and all of you---who have ALWAYS kept me on the right track even if I felt like going down the wrong one. I've learned from each and every one of you.
Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!
Joanie
