I'm a Little Scared...

I always come here first for support when something scares me. In the last few days, I've developed a very hard, unmoveable lump just under my right clavicle bone, I guess its on the chest wall but right next to and under the clavicle. It's very very hard, feels like a bone itself, about the size of a thumbnail. It doesn't move. Does anyone know what this could possibly be of course other than the C word??? M.

As someone who cares about you, I would never even venture a guess as to what it is. Just get to a doctor and have it looked at. Joanie

You need to go let the doctor see what it is. More than likely it's nothing, but to be on the safe side , go now!! As you get older you just get little bumps and lumps, you used to not have. I said the 50's had been so much fun, I couldn't wait to see what the 60's had to offer. In the last four months I've been to the doctor several times for things I thought might be serious, only for the doctor to say I was fine. Charles and I both went to the doctor for blood work this morning, as we came out of the doctor's office, I ask him 10 years ago when we got married did he think our fun outtings would be going to the doctor?? go to the doctor! let them tell you it is nothing to worry about! lets face it you are oging to worry until you do right??? so save yourself a few days of stress and stress related eating ( I only say this because THAT is my M...O...) call for the appointment, if you can't wait go to an immediate care clinic. hang in there nic

Reenie you are not going to relzx until you find out what it is! So yes, go see the Doc/ It might just be scar tissue building from one of your surgeries. Take Care & try not to panic till you find out what it could be. Ladybug Marilyn
