OT: Just Had To Share

I took the day off because I was sick this morning (old Chinese food). After the icky passed and I was feeling a little better, I started putzng around the house. Well, one thing led to another and the next thing you know, I'm outside prepping the house to paint it. I took down rope lights that were under the back gutters and there were a couple of abandoned humingbird nests attached. I was taking down the porch swing when I noticed another nest attached to the chain. I peeked inside and there were two tiny eggs, each half the size of my pinky fingernail. I left the swing and nest alone and now Momma is back and sitting on her nest. What a great day! Connie

i so wanted to call out sick yesterday! here in CT it was 79 degrees! after months of cold nasty ugly weather that 79 did make me smile. the beset part about my job is taht i am out on the road all day so i enjoyed going to see my customers but all i could think about was beign at home doing home stuff. i've picked up some bright green paint to do one wall in my den. i'm planning on getting new furniture in browns and accenting it in white. oooo i can't wait! i guess since i have new furntirue plans its a good thing i did get to work huh??? HEY i best be getting dressed right now to hit the road again! thank god it is friday.
