I undersatnd the stress of having a sick mother . Mama and I always ate our way through all our problems. My sister on the other hand can't eat if she is stressed. So when Mama had to go into a nursing home 7 years ago , she and I gained weight and my sister lost. She was a size 8, and she lost down to size 2 or 4. And she has not gained any weight back .When Mama died last year there was a month that we had together and we knew it wouldn't be long because her blood count was so low and she also needed dialisis and she refused both treatments, because she was tired and ready to go home to be with the Lord. Everyday I would set by her bed and we'd talk and eat. She couldn't eat much, but I would get her soup and she could eat pecans.
I miss Mama, when I eat something good I think Mama sure would like this.
You are doing good, this is just something that we have to take day by day. When we mess up , we can always start over. Jud
