Still more weight to lose
I have stayed the same weight for the last few years. I still have about 25 to 30 lbs. to lose and can't seem to get motivated enough to do it. I have an abdominal herina that sticks out really bad so I still ware big shirts. I want to have surgery on it along with a tummy tuck but I need to lose the rest of my weight first. I'm turning 48 this year and I so need help! Congrats to all of you on our anniversery!
Hi Cynthia, thanks for posting! We are still quite an active Board and I encourage you to drop in often to let us know how you're doing. This is very hard at this stage in our journey, as you can tell by reviewing a lot of the activity over the past several months. At this stage, most of us can eat anything and in any quantity with the only consequences being weight regain. So the good news is you're not alone! The bad news is this isn't rocket science: they only way to keep the weight off - or to lose what we've regained - is the old tried-and-true method of living a healthy and active lifestyle. There's just no getting around it. We must make very good, healthy food choices, and we must work out regularly and vigorously. This is not easy! But it is necessary. So I extend the invitation to you to stick around, post often, and keep supporting us as we commit to supporting you. I'm very glad to see your post - and happy anniversary! Reenie
