55 senior discount

Today I went shopping with my daughter and her best friend who is jsut like having anotehr daughter! We went out to lunch at Dennys. This past year I turned 55 and at some places I now can get teh senior discount. On one hand it bugs me that i'm old enough to get a senior discount but hey I don't look my age and I certainly don't act it! But I am cheap! So when we went today I was thrilled to see a senior discount for 55!!! It was actually perfect! For less than 5 bucks I had a nice egg, slice of cheese, one slice of bacon and an english muffin. I ate a 1/4 of the muffin. It was perfect. I was full but not uncomfortable. I'm gonna give Denny's my business more often!

personally i can't wait til next year! then i can qualify-in ohio they have a "Golden Buckeye" card for 55 and up--i want mine!!!! then i'll be old enuff to go to the senior ctrs for lunch and crafts and stuff too--my hubby is 68-he won't go! bu he does use that discount!!!

Hey Pammie! I've been proudly using my AARP card for what ever it will get me for YEARS !! and now at 58 I'm eyeing those state park senior citizens discounts that kick in at 62 . Not sure I want to BE 62, but I'll sure take the discount. Hugs, Mo
