4 years
Wow! So much has changed in 4 years! It's hard to imagine, but I did not even think about WLS Friday on my anniversary! (Remember, I was the "Test Canary" for our marchers!) I'm just deep into living life. I think how I've spent the last 2 days tells a lot.
My daughter has a 5 year old son who I adore. He was a lot of my motivation, because I wanted to be able to play with him. Well, about 10 days ago, they just added 2 foster children to their family--a 3 year old girl and 2 year old brother. Both kids are starved for attention and lacking in consistent discipline, and it has made their household chaotic to say the least. The last 2 days I have babysat the 3 year old to give some relief. The 2 little ones are OK alone, but terrorize each other together. We had errands to run both days and she threw more than one tantrum, but I was able to keep up with her and even had enough energy to enjoy her. There is no way I would have had the stamina to do this before surgery.
I have my food issues, but life is still much better than before. I hope each of you finds it the same!
Happy anniversary to each of us!
