Four Years! Reenie found me
Well, Reenie, you got one old timer back for the moment....I can't believe it has been four years although a lot has happened to me in those four years.
2004 was the surgery...I was considered a lightweight, needing to lose about 70 pounds...lost 50. 2005 had hernia surgery, tummy tuck lost another 10 pounds, retired from my job and moved to Arizona. 2006 had another surgery...vaginal prolapse repair and finally found my retirement spot...a cute mobile home in an over 55 park in Mesa, AZ.
2007 gained back some weight....I guess after all that running around and surgeries I relaxed too much...lol Anyway in 2008 I find myself only 40 pounds less than the day of surgery so I am trying to add more exercise and eat more sensibly.
I never had any problems, always felt I could eat way more than any of you...never had that 2 ounce feeling full problem! Oh well, bottom line is I wanted to retire looking "normal" and not obese and I have accomplished that. I wear a size 12 and have a flat tummy so really look a little better than most my peers here in my park who may weigh less than me, but have pouchy tummies.
I added my most recent pic to my profile but have not updated anything else in years.
Happy Anniversary everyone!

Sally, how great to hear from you! Wow, it's been such a long time. And yet it seems a heartbeat ago when we were all sharing our innermost fears and excitement as we faced our impending surgeries. You look beautiful! Our board has quite a strong contingency in Arizona, with Connie and the newly transplanted Marilyn leading the charge. I think you all should get together and do it up Big! I'm so glad you popped in to bring us up to date and now I challenge you to stay put; we continue to benefit every day from each other's stories, humor, sadness, hope, achievements, grit and determination. Stick around, lovely lady!!! Reenie

I am in Kingman & porbably won't get to your area for awhile,

We need all the Marchers hangin around
