Thanks again, my wonderful Marchers family
Thanks for sticking by me with my recent SOS posting about chocolate. You all really helped me to calm down and start thinking a little more clearly. I made a promise to my son to not eat the crap yesterday - and I honored that promise; did likewise today and so far, so good. I love my son much more than I love chocolate and I will not break my word to him. He's helping me. Help is all around us, all we have to do is reach out for it - thanks guys. Reenie
Glad to hear you're doing better. I am thinking that with something like chocolate for you, it has to be a 'cold turkey' issue....like drugs, smoking or other addictions.
My craving this week is marinated garlic cloves and green olives. Can you even imagine? I guess it's good I'm not working...my breath would shut the place down.
Take care,
Love ya!
Joanie
No chance in hell.
But here is the story....
There is a food store nearby that has this fabulous Olive Bar. Big stuffed green olives...stuffed with garlic, some with feta...really good stuff. As part of their thing they offer a dish called Garlic Fiesta....it's green olives, marinated garlic and sundried tomatoes. I do a pretty good job of draining the oil off of it, and I sort of avoid the tomatoes...not a fan of the sundried tomatoes. It is SO GOOD. I get a container every once in a while and eat it in a salad or just pick on it. That is my craving for the week.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it!
Joanie
