snow shoveling...

so tired of shoveling... 4 times in a 24 hour span is TOO MUCH!!!! But it is beautiful and I can't wait to cross country ski this weekend! we now have about 17 inches on the ground with the hills I shoveled taller than my 7 year old! I did no other workout type effort after all that...and I am sore all over today... so how many calories does one burn shoveling snow???? Nic

I don't think you needed any other exercise after that!! Take care & Be safe in that stuff!! At least you were not anywhere the tornadoes that were so bad. I hope everyone on our board is safe from this crazy weather out there. Ladybug Marilyn

Nic, Nic, Nic, this is the winter that will not end. I am so sick of the cold weather - I long for spring like a woman waiting for a lover that will never show...crocuses, daffodils, sunshine...ah, spring where for art thou??? Reenie

Cone to Mo. right now you wouldn't be shoveling snow you would be sliding on ice!!!!!!!!! We have lots of it right now on the south east end of the state. And it is still coming down tonight. So by in the morning I don't think too many people are going to be moving. We are just worry about it getting too heavy on the trees and power lines and shutting our eletric off. We pray that don't happen, my lights has been doing alot of blicking. I just wish I was able to get out there and try and clean my sidewalk off and my car. But I think I better stay in the house and leave that up to some one else because I am in a wheelchair. I love the snow alot more than this ice. Have fun in the snow but be safe!!!! Diana
