Saved a Cat & Lost a thumb!!

HI There So I have woke you up with that little comment. On Wed a.M. 3:30 a.m. as I had to be to work at 4 that morning. One of my dogs got away from me an caught a young cat. Well I step in an saved the cat from being killed by my dog & the cat thanked me by slice my thumb to pieces. Yup, this was at 3.30 a.m. & still had to get the bleeding stopped & get to work by 4. I did that, should have had stiches in it, but still made it to work 10 minutes late, but did make it. Now 2 days later the 3 cuts have started getting better. I have had a tetnus shot & on antibiotics just in case of infection. Has not helped the stress of getting ready to move. & dealing with the dogs in this Condo. Thank God they are handling this better than I thought they would. I did lose 3 lbs from walking them 3 times a day. So that is good, but have put it back on today I think from the antibiotics. NOt too concerned, will drink more water today & help with the retention. Just my little story for the start of the weekend. Go Go CHARGERS!!!!!!! Ladybug Marilyn

you poor thing! shame on that cat for repaying your kindness with such a mess. when is your planned move? how is your mother handling it? when i moved back to CT from living near my mother in NH my mother didn't handle it well. She was veryupset and would not talk to me for a month. It just took her time to realize that I needed to live my life. It didnt' mean that I was taking her out of it. good luck and god bless Pam

Pammy My Mom is not handling it well, either. She says she is O.K., but, she hasn't spoke to me much & I know she will go into depression after I am gone. I leave next Saturday the 26th. I told the people she works with to keep an eye on her & now she is pissed, but, I know her & she will get over it. It was a shock to her, but I do have to have a life & she lived by herself before will be O.K.. She also needs to know I will still be on the phone & come visit. I am not leaving because of anything she did or did not do. I will be back in a week or 2 with a Truck & Billy (so she can meet him) She hasn't done that, yet & that has her worried. She thinks he might be like The brother (EX) & far from it!! It has been a very long time since anyone has been interested in ME, so yes I do need a life & plan to have one. Plus, San Diego is just too darn expensive to live. AZ is a lot less on everything!! Having Billy won't be such a bad thing, either!! Hee-Hee Ladybug Marilyn
