HappY new Year!
I was at a wedding last night. What a beautiful bride and a handsome groom. They will be leaving on wednesday for a island honeymoon. They looked so happy starting their new family life together. I was with a old work friend and we just had a blast dancing the night away. There was an older couple in their 80's who were VERY good dancers! It was a joy to watch them out on the dance floor. Accuratelly doing a fantastic ball room waltz, swing, and something I think was foxtrot. I'm still learning how to do all of them but I enjoy watching people who know waht they are doing. And to see such an older couple out there it just makes me feel so good!
This is something I never would have done almost 4 years ago. I always gotout on the dance floor but did a very slow walk walk back and forth waltz and mainly fast dancing. Now I am learning swing! That I LOVE!
They say that whatever you are doing on new years eve you will be doing for the next year. So I'mthrilled. I love to dance!
I hope all had and will have a healthy wonderful 2008. Here is to all of us Marchers! Almost four years down! I think even though we've all had some problems, mostof us some weight gain, we are still going very strong.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
What a great idea to get married on New Year's Eve. You get to file your taxes as a married couple without having to be married for the whole year and you get to have a great New Year's Eve Party AND people give you gifts. If I ever get married again (which I have no plans to do) I'm doing it on New Year's Eve.
So if what you say is true, for the next year I'm going to be sleeping, cleaning and making black-eyed peas. Hmmmmm..... a lot like how I spent 2007.
Hugs,
Connie
I can just see you Swing dancing...no lights in the room necessary, your smile is fivegazillion killowats...is this really true, whatever you do on New Year's Eve is what you'll be doing for the next year? I really better start looking for an apartment...thanks for sharing, Pam, you always lift me up. Reenie
We had a very difficult New Year's Eve, that's all. Nothing new there, ups and downs, ups and downs. God, I hate the downs. Thanks for caring, sweetie. Let's find out when that L&M SG meeting is in New London. I will also be at Middlesex for the SG meeting on January 14th (am co-leading) - won't you come to that one, Pammie? Reenie
