Doggie Woes Continue!!

HI There I actaully managed to get my dogs to San Diego today. Driving 6 hrs. in my VW Bug with them. All went well They were just getting settle down in the Condo (Mom's condo) when she walked into the house. Well one of them barked at her only because they did not know her & she went crazy. Very afriad of Dogs & I had No Idea till that moment. Mine are big dogs & was going to put them in my room & patio till I could find a yard for them. Well the are not in a Kennel down the street at $30 per dog. Then I get home from there & she where did you take them? I say the kennel. You no we have no money right now, well you hardly gave me much choice in the matter since she was having a nervous breakdown & heart attack over the dogs. So it's been a fun day. They handle the trip very well & Now hate me again because they are in a kennel. Hopefully I can find somewhere to put them tomorrow a lot less money.\ Sould use some prayers for this one. Just when I though all was going to work out O.K. it blew up in my face. Just need to vent, needless to say the tention around the house aint real good tonight. Should of stayed with Billy one more night. Now that would have been worth it!! Ladybug Marilyn

Marilyn, What kind of dogs are they? There are various rescue groups in San Diego that foster specific breeds. I know that in Sun City, there are a couple of groups that will provide foster homes to dogs that are displaced because of family situations. I hope everything works out for you and your dogs. There a Germ/Shep Lab & Chow/Lab & I am trying to work with all the groups here. I just had no idea that she was so afraid of dogs. It was a complete surprise & one more hurdle to jump. I no something will work here. Marilyn

HI Pammy Glad to here from you & yes, my dogs are safe again. They are at a nice ladies house in Oceanside, CA. About a hour from here, but, still closer than 6 hrs. to AZ. She was a life safer at the last minute & very glad to meet her. Will most likely be moving back to AZ in a few months with Billy. Yes. Billy & the dogs of course. More later on this little detail.
