LAELA HAS ARRIVED!!!

It's been three months in the making but Laela is finally home with me. After 6 grueling days holed up in a horse trailer, she arrived last Friday (traveled from California to Connecticut). She is magnificent - she follows me everywhere, she is the most intelligent horse, a thinking horse, with great kindness and a quiet curiosity. We have bonded and she is filling a great big black hole that used to be inside of me. Laela and I are forever. Find your forever, whatever it may be, that brings you great joy and peace - I promise the food will take a back seat as you move forward with filling your life with purpose and joy and wonder. Congraulations on your new family member! I do not know what I would do without my little animals. They are family to me. Right now as I type the dog is laying at my feet. there is a cat sleeping in the rocker next to the comupter desk and paulie the wonder bird is pecking at the keyboard. They follow me from room to room unless I'm vacumning. Then all of them scatter except for the tiny little ****atiel who thinks she can conquour this strange noisy beast. She spreads her wings wide, stands up tall opens that beak and squaks back at it. I'd be terrirfied she'd get sucked up into it if it wasnt for her being in her cage.
