help with a letter? pleaseeeee

i need to write a letter of introduction for my boss that can be used to send to potential and current customers. OH MY GOD i've never done that before! i've searched the web and found somethings and some points on how to write it but i have a mental block. anyone have an oldone hanging aroudn that i can cut their nameout an put mine in????? \arrtrgggggg i hate this part of the job i love.

Keep it short and sweet. People have short attention spans. Maybe this can be a starting point... Paragraph 1: XYZ company is thrilled to announce that John Smith has joined our team in the role of Goober Manager. Paragraph 2: Customer Business and XYZ have a long and successful history of working together for mutual benefit. We want to continue to be a part of your success by meeting your need for quality products to.... Paragraph 3: John is looking forward to visiting with you personally about your goober needs and will be contacting you in the next few weeks to set up a visit. Please be thinking of ways that he can help you be successful in your business. Yours truly, signed by someone they know
