As soon as you get your life sorted into tidy piles, someone will come along and mess it up... (That is assuming you could sort it in the first place--I've never gotten that far on mine!) I've come to the conclusion that life, day to day is not supposed to make sense. It is the experience of living it--muddling through--that determines our character, not the events themselves. This is a journey, not a destination. If we keep focusing on searching for "The Destination" we will miss the beauty of the changing landscapes we pass along the way. And even deserts and fields of thorns have their own types of beauty if we look for it. Maureen, you are one of those points of beauty in the changing landscape of my life over the last 2 years. I'm so glad to share the ride with you! Joy
