Well this is harder than I thought it would be. See the problem is that since my anniversary is at the end of the month all the wonderful, thankful, life giving thoughts and episodes have already been talked about over and over and written in better description and form than I could ever think of myself. I'm not quite sure what to say. We have seen each other through many difficult times in the last two years but there have also been some wonderful things that have happend to us all as well inregards to the surgery it's self and all the life that has been lived since. I know that I am not the most consistant poster. I am also not the most eloquent of writers like Reene, nor am I the most entertaining (Connie, Dina, and of coures Ken when he is on good drugs ). I don't always give the best advise like Mike, Joy, and Virgina. I'm not brave like Marilyn. I can also say that I am not the best cheerleader like Judy, Pammy, Yvette, and all the rest of the gang who's name's I have missed. But I am one thing.........I am very thankful that I have you all for my family. With out you I would not be where I am today. They say that the gift that we have been given is a tool. Well sometimes it takes an entire construction crew for the tool to work properly, so here's to you.... my crew. And to all of you who are still under construction.... good luck, god bless, and remember we all love and respect you very much. So I guess my 2-year post is not all about me....I'ts all about you. Each and everyone of you have been just as instramental in getting me to a happy and healty weight as the Surgeon who began this process 2-years ago yesterday so thank you from the bottom of my heart. Love to you all, Leslie P

Darn it, Leslie, you made me cry! What a beautiful, beautiful post! You are so pretty and I love visiting your profile page because you really capture what this whole experience has been and continues to be about. By the way, I'd love to see and perhaps purchase some of your jewlery...do you have a web site? My daughter makes her own stuff, too, and it's pretty nice stuff. Thanks for always being there for us. Please stay close to us, we need you. Love, Maureen

Hey Leslie; You don't give yourself the credit you deserve!! Your post is as eloquent as any I've seen here!! Don't sell yourself short.....One thing that M.O. and formerly M.O. people seem to have is a well-developed bad self-image. Your input is as valued as anyone else's. You wrote a beautiful post. Congratulations on your anniversary and your success!! I'm sure that I'm not the only one here who enjoy's hearing from you. Too many people seem to shy away from posting because they underestimate their writing skills. The thing that makes this board such a wonderful home is the great variety of input we get. If you look at some of the other boards, you'll see that most of the posts are done by the same few people. We want you and we need you.....don't be a stranger!! Mike

Leslie, Wow!! That was a beautiful post!! You are so down to earth that I always look forward to reading your input. You are so right in stating that this tool requires an entire crew to make it work. It's a 24/7 job that never ends as long as we're breathing. Some days it only takes one worker to take care of it, other days everyone has to step up and shoulder their part of the burden. This crew here always has their work gloves and hard hats on - ready for action. Happy thoughts! Va

Selling yourself short, you are a wonderful memeber of this community. You know, it is hard to explain to people outside of this how much it helps to be here, without making it sound like we are desperate. This cadre of people has an huge impact on my being, and you are part of that. Be thankful and congrats. You look wonderful and I'm wishing you continued success.
