Remember...

Debra's post reminded me in a new way of where we were 2 years ago. There is a whole new class of Marchers coming along behind us! No matter what your current struggles are, they don't compare to the highs and lows of those early post op days. Wasn't it fun watching the scales move (the right way!) every day? Didn't the serious health issues that many of us faced during the recovery period bring a grim reality to the seriousness of the choice we had made? We started off as a vocal quirky bunch of strangers. We are permanently joined as family. I pray that the Marchers of 2006 will bless each other as much as each of you has blessed me. Take the time to go over and congratulate them! The memories will warm your heart! Joy

You are absolutely correct, We sometime get complacent in our thinking & everyday life. It does do wonders to go back & see what happened back then. When I was reading Debra's post did not even realize she was brand new at this, I thought she was talking about a sholder surgery she recently had.She was not very clear. Now I understand a little clearer. (some of blondes it take a little longer) Marilyn, the Bearlady
