Finally! A Good Day
Saw the good PCP for a follow-up on all the mammogram stuff. He really feels that the doctor at the Women's Center is just being cautious by asking me to come back in 6 months for a follow-up mammogram. He said that if it was really a concern, he would have ordered a biopsy right then and there. The PCP really feels like what is showing up on the mammogram is nothing more than a spot of dense tissue. Yippee for stupid boobs. So I asked him what he would advise his wife or mother about reconstructive surgery at this point and he said to go for it.
Soooo...... drum roll, please...... I have a date for brachioplasty and abdominoplasty. April 4th! I opted not to have the lower body lift at this point because the two things that bother me the most are my arms and panni and want to make sure that I get both of those things taken care of right off the bat. I had to refinance the house to do it, but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
Big, Happy Hugs,
Connie
Yippeeee!!!
I'm so glad things are on the upswing for you. I wish I could have someone lop off the belly bulge for me - I'd feel so much better. Alas, I'm still trying to lose before going through any reconstructing. So, in the meantime I'm going to live vicariously through you.
You go girl!
Hugs and love,
Wendy
