Iron def....
Hello all, havent been around much, but almost 2 yrs out and feeling good, in Novemember i found out i was very anemic. I have been receiving Infed infusion, since then once a week. My blood levels were very low and they wanted to know how i managed daily.. I feel better now and alot more energy.. Has this happened to anyone else...Michele
It hasen't happened to me, or atleast I think it hasen't... I do wonder tho if my iron levels are low, I should probably have them checked uh? Anyways, Just wanted to Say Hello!!! Haven't seen ya around in ages. So sorry your having this problem with the iron, its gotta stink. Jose has become Hypoglycemic since his surgery, so far nothing really has happened to me since surgery besides having to have my gallbladder removed and the fact that I lost too too too much hair... My fault tho, shoulda taken my vitamins.
Anyways, Take care!!!!!

Please everyone, get yearly nutritional bloodwork done!!! Even if you are eating right and taking your supplements, your individual reactions to this surgery puts you at risk for deficiencies, particularly iron, B12, and Calcium. These are easy to treat IF CAUGHT EARLY! The symtoms come on so gradually that you can get quite sick before you realize it.

I agree Joy, if not once a year probably even every 6 months to make sure they haven't dropped too low. The b-12 deficiency can cause brain
damage & a lot of other problems as well. I do hope you feel better & yes some ofhas had thismhappen. We all are different in how we obsorb our vitamins & don't so it is important for everyone to keep up on them for
the rest of your life. sorry, but true.
