Having a party
Well, I'll make this as short as I can, which won't be very short. I'm having PS on 2/14/06, and while my surgeon is phenomenal, there are always risks associated with any surgery. That being said, I wanted to do something special with my wife prior to my surgery. I arranged to have our children cared for while we went off to Spokane for a weekend alone. You know the kind where you only time you get dressed is to let in room service. So, after making reservations and such I received a phone call that I had a board meeting for a statewide organization for which I'm a member. We only have two statewide meetings a year, so I couldn't miss it. I decided I'd just attend the meeting on Saturday and have the night with my wife. However, the next morning I awoke with an epiphany. I decided that I would throw one hell of a party.
Here is the deal. On Saturday the 11th of February, I am hosting a Mardi Gras themed event. I'm calling it Skinny Saturday. I invited about 50 friends and we are going to do it up big time. Costumes, masks, and yes, even beads. Being the male that I am, I hoping that some of the ladies attempt to "earn" their beads as well. Anyway, it should be a fun time and while it is unlikely any of you could make it, I am throwing it out to you if would like to travel to Missoula, Montana for the weekend. You can email me for more details if you want to take in beautiful Montana and Skinny Saturday
Well if I was there and nekkid, and you saw my boobs, you'd think they were the beads! I had a surprise Mardi Gras party for my 40th birthday and it was a blast. Friends picked me up in a limo and took me to the party. What a hoot. I spent a great deal of my childhood in the New Orleans area so love a good Mardi Gras. Sure wish I could join you.

Well, in regards to the bead thing, I would have to be the judge of that! In anycase, as the guest list includes many of my neices I'm hoping I don't see their boobs. Even though they are neices by marriage, and very attractive it just isn't right. Their will be beads available without having to earn them.
I ordered my vest and bow tie and will also sport a jester hat for the evening. It should be a grand ole time.
Sounds like great fun, Ken, but what else can we expect from you? My sister lives in Helena, are you nearby? She's lived there for more than a decade and I have yet to visit the state. So, I'll have to take a raincheck. In the meantime, my surgery (thighplasty, brachioplasty and lower body lift) is Tuesday -- I'll be under 10 hours. Am terrified...Love, Maureen
