Plastic Surgeon Consult-YEAH!

Yesterday, I went to have my 1st consult with the plastic surgeon. He told me that I am a definite candidate for the adominalplasty (sp?). I have also decided to get the mastopexy (breast lift with implants for fullness). The mastopexy is going to cost me $5317; $3500 for surgeon fee, $660 anesthesia and $1157 facility charge. So, I am now playing the waiting game, but BC/BS is awesome when it comes to turn around time. I did find out that I am now 160lbs. I thought I weighed more but I am proud of where I am, because I could have been where I used too be. GOD Bless!! JanetN

I hope you get the approval. Are you trying for medical necessary? I am BCBS and changed to PPO trying to get the surgery. My first appt with my pcp is February 6th.
