O.T-Got Snow? Not Here!!
Hi All!!
Just a little Christmas Cheer sent your way to those of you that
are knee deep in snow. Arizona may be getting down in the 30's at night, 20's in some places, but,
but guess what are daytime temps are in the high 50 & low 60's. You
can take all that snow & Ice..... I like it out here. even in the summer when it is 120. You can all move out here, We will take you, right Connie!!
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all the March Board Groupies.
Marilyn, the Bearlady
I live in a cold climate and I am not, I repeat, NOT a cold weather girl. If it were up to me, I'd be in Arizona in a heartbeat. The warmer the better. The boyfriend and I are talking about retiring there someday...I think I'd love it. I cry when it snows. I can't even stand looking at artwork of snow scenes. I find them depressing. I'm so weird. Oh by the way, we made cookies tonight. I ate 2 of them. There was a time they would have never made it to the oven because I would have eaten all the dough. So I figure I'm still ahead of the game....and I did 100 crunches at the gym this morning, in addition to my regular workout. I had a second interview today for a job that seems wonderful. I will find out tomorrow if I got it. Say a prayer. I need to get back to work.
Anyway, have a happy and healthy holiday season.
Love to all,
Joanie
Well......last Friday, we got rain on top of the snow.....then the temperature dropped. We now have chunks of dirty ice everywhere.....pretty depressing scene. Oh well, no winter wonderland in coastal Connecticut. Just icy enough to make it interesting. I'm really learning to hate winter. I used to love it, but those days are gone. Maybe I'll pack up my kayak and head to Arizona too......although I'm not sure that that 100 degree stuff in the summer would turn me on either!! Oh well, I guess that some folks are hard to please!!
CHEERS
