My challenge
Ok Dokey
Thanks to fitday (marilyn they have made it easier to use) I have been tracking daily my food intake.
I was amazed at how much I was eating. It didn't seem like I was over eating but when you chart it it was a tremondous amount of carbs and calories. So fitday was an eye opener. Over the past week of tracking and charting I've gotten the carbs to be much lower. My protein is good and I'm working on the fats. I've also gotten my calories at a better mark.
It was very hard to believe that I was eating 2000 or more calories a day. That was a bit of a shocker. Now I've cut them back to 1400 to 1500 but thats still more than I think I should have. I think it should be around 1200 a day. I need to excersize. My curves shut down and I'm not doing anything at this point.
As far as weight loss, the first few days of sticking to my food program I lost 3 pounds. But the scale is a mysterious thing. Why is it that the first few days I lost 3 pounds, I've cut back on all that other stuff but then I gain those 3 pounds back? It does not make sense.
At least I am aware and sticking to what I should be doing. I still have adjustments to make to the excersizing and I need to work at lowing the calories to 1200 but I think I am on the right path again.
