DINA, I CAN'T GET YOU OFF MY MIND...

How are you? Where are you? I'm worried, please post.

You are so sweet to think of me when I'm so awol most of the time! I am doing okay. I am finally getting over a 3 week bug that knocked me for a loop. I thought I was catching a cold and ended up immediately going into a sinus infection/bronchitis that kicked my BUTT. I can't believe how quick and intense it was. Mason has had croup 2x in the last month or two already this year and had it for the first time less than a year ago, so it's getting old. They gave him a steriod therapy this time that helped a lot. Other than that, just working some overtime and looking forward to a little time off for the holidays. I have the last couple weeks of the year off, so it will be nice to be able to bake cookies with Mason and get some shopping done before the very last minute. As for my marriage situation, initially I wanted to wait through the holidays to do anything because I wanted to not have to worry about things right now. Jack was handling it hard, so I told him I'd wait until March to do anything if he went to counseling, but we'll see....I haven't really changed how I feel though...he knows that. Thanks for checking up on me. I'm here but don't get a chance to read every day. I like to at least try to catch up once a week but don't always. Hopefully I will get a chance to read a bit tonight... Dina

Glad you're feeling better, Dina. This board suffers when you're not around, truly. Please check in at least on a weekly basis, just to say hi, ok? You know that I know what you're going through and how incredibly difficult it is. Would be easy if it was just ourselves we had to consider, or at least much easier to make these important decisions. But there are others who have loved us unconditionally throughout all of our body changes -- the husbands, the kids...it's so hard to know what to do and when to do it. Just know that I'm thinking about you all the time and missing your wisdom and wit and humor and insight. We all do, I'm sure. Take care, sweetie. Maureen

Amen, Maureen! Dina - you have been in my thoughts. I hope you, Maureenie and I make it through the holidays unscathed. It seems like the three of us are going through all sorts of relationship turmoil. UGH!! I'll be glad when all this drama is over. Y'all hang in there, OK?!?
