Hi All- All of a sudden my hair is thinning again. It was looking much better at the beginning of the summer and now it is falling out just like when I first had the surgery. Any one else experiencing this? Any suggestions? I am going to be a blad eagle by next summer!! Thanks, Sharon

The only way mine does not shed is if I continue taking hair, skin, nails vitamins. I buy them at GNC, but Walmart has one too. Biotin is the main nutrient, but there are other things in them too that seem to make a big difference. Good luck! Joy

The only think I can think of is that during the summer everything grows faster, hair and nails, and they seem to grow better, too. I can see the change in the texture of my hair from the winter weather now. I hope I make it through the winter. Jen

I am still losing hair...well, actually it has slowed down, but it is now NOT growing back at all. After the surgery (4 or 5 months out maybe) it started shedding. Eventually, it started growing back and I pranced around with pride at my new uncontrollable sprouts. Then I got a flu shot and had a reaction (scalp psoriasis) due to the stress my body was already under. I lost large amounts of hair due to the scaling. Everything I read and was told by the dermatologist indicated that the hair would grow back once the condition cleared. It hasn't. No sprouts in site and it has been about a year since the flu shot (which by the way I will never get again!!!) and maybe nine months since the reaction. At this point I give up on the thought of a thick head of hair. I keep the same short style that I have always worn (with the exception of my shaving it off out of frustration at the beginning of summer) only I have adopted a kind of flat "comb over" which gives the appearance of thicker hair. I am pregnant right now and know that I again will have active shedding after the baby is born in February. I don't know what I will do then besides start trying Rogaine type shampoos and look into hair transplanting because there is still plenty to go around at the back of my head (haha). I have to laugh at it at this point. I tell my husband that he has gained the sympathy prego weight and I have lost the sympathy hair (most of his has fallen out over the past two years) so we must be even on some cosmic scale. When I get out of the shower I really do look like the hair club for men commercials when they pop up from under the pool surface and shake their hair [sigh]. Wish I had a magic cure to share with you...but if you happen to find one along the way, please send the info to me!!!! Thanks Kym
