fitday again praise praise praise
that fitday is fantastic! i've got everyone at work using it now. its great to be able to log in, find out how much something is calorie, fat, carb, wise and enter it to my log. i like that i can costomize things that they do not have and take advantage of that too. each day it helps me keep track even while i might not be anywhere near a computer i'm thinking ahead about what i'm eating.
last night i met my daughter and her friends at a local place. they were all laughing and eating snacky stuff. not one of themis over a size 4 but they all work out and watch their calories. they know the secreat of being able to eat, keeping fit, but still having a treat. i'd just left my computer and knew what i had left for treat calories. i stuck to water. then by the end of the night had one terriyaki chicken wing. it was great. i still was within a good range of calories.
i can't say that i give myself a number of calories per day. what i've been doing is eating good healthy things as usual but rememvering what they are calorie wise per fitday. then i make that decision on if i want more. so while each day has been lower in calories then the last i've not gone under 1400 per day. so far. eventually i'd like to keep it at 1200 but am trying to do it naturally without stressing too much.
i am feeling positive that with wha ti'm doing lowing the amount i take in each day i'll meet that 1200 goal per day within no time at all.
the best part is i lost 1/2 pound today! that makes me feel good.
what amazes me too is that i did not think i ate that many calories. i didnt' eat that much food at all compared to my friends. but when you add it all up i was eating almost 2000 a day. not bad if your excersizing regularly but when my curves shut i was at a loss and have not gotten out there walking or anythign else i come home an sit. NOT good.
i'm thinking with the way i'm doin gthe fitday that the excersing will be coming along too this weekend!
