Late night rambling

Sorry but its one of those sleepless nights. Paulie the wonder bird has a new game. He has a perch in my spare room and will sit on tha****ching tv while I'm getting ready for work in the morning. just like the kids when they were little i plunk him in front of the tube! The perch has a cup on either end for treats. While I was in the bathroom I heard him chattering away. When I listened he kept repeating step up, step up, step up. the comand I give him when I present my arm for him to step up onto. I peak around the corner and he's standing on the edge of the cup onone end of the perch. He gets down walks to the other end says step up and steps onto the cup then he repeats this all over to the other end. He has a new game! This bird is such a riot I love to watch and listen to him. This past week I had some repair men in and out while I was at work. Yesterday when I came home from work Instead of Paulie greeting me with his usual wooo mommies home how you doing baby? when I opened the door He yells WOOO THAT BIRD CAN TALK! So I'm sure that the repair men must have some great stories they told their families when they got home! Paulie loves corn on the cob and peanuts. He cleans that cob off like you would not believe. There is nothing left except a dry cob. And peanuts he can see a mile away! When I get the big jar out he starts to practically drool. bobs his head up and down shakes his feathers and dances. I open it and he will stick his head right in to help himself. He did not want to go back in his cage the otehr morning. The peanuts were the only way to get himin.
