Electronically Challeneged

Does anyone know how to get these stupid tv's to work??? In february I bought a really neat flat screen 32" LCD tv. I was so proud of this thing! The guy I was seeing at that time helped me pick it out and set it all up. I've gone and pushed some button and now do not get any tv screen. So what i have is this neat tv sitting silent in my den. The guy had been kicked to the curb 2 months back. Is it wrong to contact him to set the tv up again??? dam I'm going to have to get my son's to come over and figure it out. It shoudl take them 2 minutes. I've been trying to figure it out for a week. The booklet it came with reads like a space ship manual. I emailed the tech support and was sent a lovely reply of how to fix it but it was written in alein language. oh well guess its upstairs to watch the 12" with the magnifiing glass. I was so happy being able to watch tv without the glasses.

What name brand is your TV? My mom & I had that problem a little while ago & finally called the Cable guy out & he just pushed on little button & it came back into play. There was a button to change the video input & that had to be changed back, it took him a second to fix & I could not figure it out. So don't feel bad!! Call the guy the hooked it up & have him fix.
