Good Monday Morning!
Howdy!!
Hope everyone is bright and cheery this morning. I think I slept pretty well last night .. at least I don't remember any major issues with not sleeping so that is a good thing. I was up and at 'em when the clock went off at 4:30. I had enough time at the gym for 30 minutes (and a 5 minute cool down) on the treadmill. Now that I've been back at it for a week, I think tomorrow I will go back to my strength training routine on Tues/Thurs. If I have time I will toss in 10 to 15 minutes of cardio on those days too.
Mr Mo left for Frostburg yesterday afternoon so Lefty and I are on our own until Friday evening. It's funny, I never give a thought to going off and leaving Mr Mo home alone, but I am not crazy about being home alone. We only have a couple of hours together every day, but I do miss them! I have plenty to keep me busy this week, so maybe it won't be so bad.
I have a project I want to do with my sewing machine (I have a 'classic' sewing machine .. it's a Singer Featherweight that is almost 60 years old) and I haven't used it for a while. Yesterday I discovered that the bobbin case is all rusted. I am in a panic! I cleaned it up and I've left it soaking in 5 in 1 oil hoping it will loose up and not be totally destroyed. If it is, I hope I can find another bobbin thingy. My sister has offered me an extra sewing machine that she has .. it was my aunt's .. and I am definitely going to take her up on the offer .. I just need to get to Fairfax to pick it up.
This weekend is the long awaited trip to Hagerstown to the dirt track with the new RV. I am so looking forward to getting away and enjoying the RV. Hope the weather is cooperative!!! We will leave probably noon-ish on Saturday, get to the track and relax until it's time for the races to start.
I have another follow up with the NP at the urologist office on Friday a.m. I'll have to run after work on Thursday and have a KUB done. I didn't think when I made the NP appointment for 8 a.m. I am thinking of maybe taking Friday off just to have a 'me' day and run some errands and get things ready for the weekend.
Ok, enough of this .. I drank 3 bottles of water before I left for work and have downed most of a protein shake .. so I'm going to be spending my morning running down the hall.
