Hi All, All of you that are going though all this rain lately, prayers are headed your way for a safe recovery from all the rains & hope you make it through with not too much damage. Mother Nature sure has been throwing a lot of @#$$@#stuff lately at us. Hang in there, it is suppose to dry out soon. Keep us posted how you are all getting by, as soon as you can. Marilyn, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you. You always take a moment to remember the people who are having regional disasters and you always show so much concern for all of us. I'm so glad that you're here. Hugs, Connie

Thanks Marilyn and I second what Connie said.....You always seem to take the time to think about the problems of others. You are a treasure and I'm glad to have you here with us! I have come through 9 solid days of heavy rain with mildew in my beard and armpits, but otherwise generally OK. We've had some flooding here, but nothing like what's happened in other parts of New England and, of course, nothing like the disaster that has befallen the Gulf Coast recently. We did have a huge old Oak tree fall behind our house. The good news here is that it fell into the woods away from the house. We have been watching it along for years and it's time finally came. We never did anything about it because it was a nice old tree which the wild creatures like and it was leaning toward the woods anyway and was in no danger of harming us or anyone else. In other news, I finally got a walk outdoors today and I totally relished it. Dog and wife were pretty pleased about joining me too!! Have you ever seen a dog smile??! After being cooped up in the house for all but the necessary "outs" for over a week, Annie is what my wife and I refer to as "A smile with a dog attatched"!! Take care good "Bear Lady" and thanks again for your concern. Mike

Connie & Mike, You are welcome, That is just Me. Living in the Desert we don't have to deal with much accept the heat in the Summer. We are suppose to get some rain tomorrow, I will believe it when I see it. Around here it usually misses us. We could actually use it, so I hope it does rain. Hang in there Mike & Yes I do know a dog smiles, mine do it all of the time. If mine had been closed up for that long, they would be smiling to get out for a walk too! Hang in There!! Maybe you will actually see the Sun again soon. Marilyn, the Bearlady

Ditto what Connie and Mike said! It was a little bit rough here...I live a few blocks from the beach on an island and flooding is sort of a way of life here. When the sun came out on Saturday, my boyfriend and I headed to Cape May and took a ferry ride to Delaware....it was glorious! I almost forgot what the sun looked like!---My boyfriend and I are talking about retiring to Arizona some day...I'll take the sunshine anytime! Thanks for thinking of us here, you're a sweetie! Joanie
