I go Thursday afternoon for a consultation for an upperbody lift. I have already had the Belt Lipectomy and things are great from that. I am a little nervous what the insurance company is going to say about it though. I know that women have breast lifts paid for a lot by insurance companies after WLS. I just don't knw what they are going to say about having my "man boobs removed". Also has anybody had any luck getting insurance to pay for your arms?? I am going to have that done at the same time. I would appreciate it if everyone would keep me in your prayers that insurance will cover all of this. Thanks everyone. Nick 510--now 250

Hi Nick - I just learned that my insurance co. is going to cover the braichioplasty (arm lift); they denied the lower body lift (thighs and buttocks) and I am appealing. All I can say is pictures, pictures, pictures! Get your PCP and surgeon to write a compelling case for medical necessity. Best of luck, let us know what happens. Maureen

Hi Nick; I can't give you any advice on dealing with insurance for PS because I have no experience on the subject. I just wanted to let you know that I'm rooting for you. Lots of luck!! Mike
