First Plastic Surgery

Well you guys, I have my first plastic surgery on 10/18. They will remove my stomach first. My doctor says it weights 15-20 pounds. He hoped to do my arms at the same time but due to my heart condition he decided to take a wait and see approach. He wants to see how well I do from the first one before we double up. If we don't double up I'm looking at maybe five surgeries cause every where needs work. Well keep me in your prayers.

Joann, Best wishes and my prayers will be with you. I am now 2 1/2 weeks post op from abdominoplasty. It is a BIG surgery(bigger than the RNY was for me), but I am finally feeling my energy come back yesterday and today. I had 107 staples, 2 drains, and some stiches in my new belly button. They were all removed at 2 weeks. I was so glad to have them out. The pain wasnt too bad except when I tried to laugh or cough, but that too is MUCH better. You will be amazed at how great you look even with the swelling that comes after surgery. I only had 2 pounds of skin removed, and no liposuction. The Dr intended to do lipo, but when he got in there he said there was absolutely no fat to remove. Now I'd like to get my thighs done at some point, but will wait and see after I am completely healed from this. Keep us posted....janelle
