Hi gang; I'm on call this weekend at work, so I'm not sure that I'll have much time for the computer. (Supervisors take turns covering problems which crop up over the weekend and it's my turn.) Anyway, I'm going in for the surgery on my shoulder early Tuesday morning. The doc expects to be able to repair the tear in the tendon as long as it's accessable. He's also going to clean out some bone spurs and other accumulated trash. The reason for this post is to ask that you send some positive waves this way. I'm looking for a nice, boring, run-of-the-mill procedure. It's an outpatient procedure, so I'll be home the same afternoon. At least now that I'm "half the man I once was", the idea of anesthesia is not so terrifying. Thanks for your support as always and we'll talk to you all next week! Mike

Of course, you are in my thoughts and prayers. This will be a piece of cake (no pun intended) for you now that you are an average weight for your height. I am positive that you'll do GREAT!! Joanie

Thank you all for the "Good Vibes"!! I know that this procedure is fairly minor compared to WLS and PS, but this shoulder has been dragging me down for quite a while and I'm hoping that it solves the problem. It's slowing me down at a time when everything else physical is revving up!! The people on this board continue to amaze me with the caring and supportive attitude shown here. I LOVE YOU GUYS (GIRLS)!!!!! Mike
