Back to Basics
I know I needed a reminder, so I thought many of you may as well. I had gotten a bit relaxed in the past month or so and after getting the word on my BL, I decided to hit it hard again. The point here is not that I was doing badly, but I got a bit sloppy with some food choices and not hitting the gym like I was. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't costing me yet, but it could and here is my point. I started logging my intake again, and made it a point to hit the gym or do something regardless of how many hours I worked or how tired I said I felt. The response has been great, and it was just the kick in the arse that I needed.
So, if you are getting to the point that you need to make a change, I suggest getting back to the basics and I think you'll get some benefit.
Make a great day!!!!
It can't hurt, that's for sure. I've been trying to be more careful too...but I have a question....sometimes I find it hard to make a food selection:
higher fat with protein
or
lower or no fat with no protein????
I think Reenie posted about it a while ago...something that we always thought of as healthy (oatmeal and fruit for breakast for example) has NO protein to speak of. Like, for lunch, a salad with fat free dressing has no protein, but tuna salad, with mayo, has fat and protein. What is the right choice?

HI Joanie,
I think in your question you asked that protien with a little fat is better
choice than no protien at all. I have always been told that protien should
be first than vegtables then starch if you are eating any at all. We don't
hang on to the fat like we use too, so that is not our enemy as much as
high calories are. Hope this helps you a little.
