Hi all - it's been a while but know you are never far from my thoughts. Life is hectic. I am going in for plastic surgery tomorrow a.m., the dreaded mastopexy or, in layman's terms, the breast lift. My fear concerning this surgery is that I will emerge with breasts the likes of which Picasso would have painted during his cubist period. You know, one at the knee cap, the other on top of my head... Just wanted to say hi and I'll be in touch in a few days. Wish me luck! Your Reenie

It may make dressing a hard, but your husband would probably appreciate the access. All jokes aside, let not your heart be troubled. Recovery is in large part within the mind. You will do great and it will all work out. I'm not a new age guy, but you have to believe it will work out and your outcome will be better. My brother-in-law is a Doc. And has mentioned the mind/ body connection many times. As I stated here before, I read the book, "Preparing for Surgery, Recovering Faster" prior to my WLS. I returned to work full time one week after surgery. I plan on doing the same afer my BL in December. My thoughts will be with you, and just know that it will all work out just fine.

Good luck, Reenie! I know you'll be fine. At least you have breasts to lift. Mine are so teensy. My thoughts and prayers are with you! Joanie

Reenie New Boobs- Wow what a great feeling you will have. We must see the finished look when you are healed of course in a real slinky sweater. If we ever get to where we can wear sweaters again. Still too damn hot!! Good luck & lots of prayers for a quick recovery. Check in when you feel up to it! Marilyn, the Bearlady

Hi Maureen; Relax, Kiddo....you're going to come through this one just fine. The way you're changing these days, you are going to need to e-mail me a picture so that I recognize you at the next support group meeting!! Or else I'll just hug the first "Super Model" I see and if I don't get my face slapped, assume that I got it right!!! Good luck and speedy recovery, my friend!!! Mike

Aww Joy, you always have something sweet to say I feel good but I have to take better care of myself, I have been slacking off with all I have been going through the last 6 months,(personal problems) I feel I could be doing better, especially with food choices... I now know how I got to almost 400 pounds a lil thing called STRESS!!!! and I wont let it get to me again, but thanks for the kind words  and a funny thing is that latest pic is 6 months old! I need to have a recent one done soon! Hope all is well by you God bless your heart Joy!
