Anyone going to school?
Thanks! Actually though, all of my classes are online so no worries about that first day of school. Can I still buy a new outfit though? That part sounds great. I no longer fit in my 16 jeans so I do need new clothes.
I think my biggest worry is that I am not smart enough to do well. In my major, you have to have a 3.0 so I am a little worried that I am going to bomb out like I did when I was in college the first time right out of school. But I look around at other people that have college degrees and I think if they can do it, so can I! lol

I never post, but do read on the board from time to time. I had to respond to this one, because I am returning to College as well.
I just turned 40 and have always been embarrassed that I did not complete my degree (most of my co workers assume I have a degree since they all do). I am only taking one class to get my feet wet, since I work full time, but I am looking forward to it.
Isn't it amazing how we want to improve other areas of our lives now that we have lost so much weight ?

Well, it looks like I'm going to school too....went to unemployment and I qualify for free tuition so I can get my teaching certification for the state of New Jersey. I already have a Bachelor's degree, so I'll have to go for 3 or 4 semesters and take tests. I haven't been to school in 28 years...how am I going to do this? What I really want to do is teach kids to read...I think I would like to be some sort of reading specialist. I think that would be very rewarding. I met with the Career person from the state and I have another appointment with them on Tuesday. I'm excited but scared to death.....I hope I can do this....
