Hi everyone, Well I had my little one a few days early. I had her on the 19th. Was lying on the couch and felt a little pop. I went into the kitchen and my water broke. They took me very quickly it was around 1:00 am in the morning when my water broke, I went right to the hospital and they prepped me right away. She was born 3:13 am. Had a c-section and everything went well. Still recovering but doing great. We went with the name Katelyn, she was 7lbs 15 oz and 20 inches long I haven't had an attack on my stomach since having her. It's still not quite right though. I still get some pain, anyway, the baby is doing great. Found out on like the last day of being in the hospital that I tested positive for antibodies which fight against the baby's blood. Now...I had NO idea that this was going on. There was a pediatrician in to check Katelyn and she made a comment "She is doing great despite your tests comming back positive." I said what tests? Positive for what???? She gave me a puzzled look. She was like "Oh you tested positive for antibodies. You are RH+ while the baby rH- or something like that. You didn't know?" I said no... I had no idea. She was like well the baby is doing great. No effects at all. so now I'm freaking out thinking why the hell didn't I know about this? WHy didn't anyone ever tell me. SO when I go for my check up I intend to ask. It just freaks me out knowing that this was going on and I had no idea. I wonder if thats why this pregnancy was so bizzare ... where I had such a terrible chemical craving... the gasoline and pain and chemical cravings and the terrible pain in my stomach? I don't know. I had my gallbladder out before my wls so it wasn't that. I swear that pain was so excruciating! anyways I thank God for the blessing that the baby is healthy and happy. Well when she's not hungry I am going to get that pancreas checked...Thanks for mentioning that Connie. Didn't think about that. I have to make an appointment with my wls just to do a check up and talk about the pain and everything else. I will post pictures once I get them loaded from my camera to the computer On the interesting side... My final weight at 9 Months pregnant was 233... Its now what like 12 days later and I was at my parents house with my husband. He weighed himself and it was like 205. He was like ok...your turn. I was like ok...here we go. Well I got on and it said 204!!! I was like holy crap I weigh less than you!!! he was not happy but I was!!! I was like YES! And also totally shocked that I dropped so much weight. I certainly wasn't prepared for that. It is my lowest that I have ever been. I intend to keep on lowering it. so that was a nice added plus to things. well I wanted to let everyone know my little girl is doing great and me too My son is just tickled with his new little sister. He just turned 9 and gets a kick out of all her little expressions. My husband is just in love with the little girl as we all are. He's been showering my son with attention which is awesome as well. Things will be so different from now on Well I will update soon and hopefully have a picture (((Hugs))) Elizabeth M
