Belt Lipectomy Ok'd

Got a wonderful letter from two insurance companies this weekend and got the news that my PS has be preapproved. I'm jacked because now I have a cordination of benefits and will have little to no out of pocket. So, on Dec 6th, I'll be under the knife again. Thanks for all of you thoughts and prayers on this one, it must of helped as I fully expected to have to fight with one if not both companies for coverage. Make a great day!!

Great news! Your wife better lock you u and throw away the key! I just feel so badly for those of us who have had (and continue to have) such a hard time with insurance coverage. Ken, what is your insurance if you don't mind sharing? My PS wouldn't even put in for the belt lipectomy saying it wasn't a "medical necessity" and that it was "strictly cosmetic" -- I'm going in next week for the breast lift and he and I are going to have a long talk -- over new boobies!!! I have BSBS of Georgia PPO as my primary and BSBS/Montana Care as my secondary. Nobody was shocked more then me, as Montana Care denied my surgery, but approved the BL. Go figure? Best of luck on your boobie talk!
