Dump on Choc Cake
Hi All,
I haven't dumped on anything in so long I didn't think it would ever happen again. Well, guess what, I was wrong. Last night decided to
go back to old habits (temporary insanity) & had piece of Double Fudge
Choc Cake. Only ate half o piece, but boy was that a mistake. I dumped
in a big way. I am actaully kind of glad as thought I was immune to it
these days. The other half of the cake went into the trash, so We won't
be trying to drown my sorrows that way anytime real soon. I was having
a little down time do to financial stress. The job is going well so far, & I
am happy with th change, just lot of money problems no money & lots
of bills. Story of life, but, It was really stupid to think the cake would make them all go way. On top of that this A.M I went out to go to
Wal-mart & someone hit my Van last night & the left side is all messed up.
Broken mirror & window. Big Bummer. The cops listed it a**** & Run, so
hopefully the Insurance will pay for it. It's still a hassle to get the dumb thing fixed. Just one more thing added to the mess.
Oh Well, Thanks for listening to me grumble this am.

Hi Marilyn:
Sorry your car got hit. It is a pain to get them fixed.
Good luck with your new job. I hope it helps you feel better too.
I don't seem to dump too easily on sugar but I'm glad that I do. It certainly keeps me in check. I can and do eat some sweets every day, but it is in moderation thank goodness. I would hate to start regaining any of the weight I've lost and the dumping and small pouch sure keep me from doing so.

So sorry about the stresses...I think we all go through it. My boyfriend's ex wife is giving him a hard time and he's so depressed that it's depressing me. He wants me to move up north with him, and I can't do it until my daughter graduates from high school, and the commute is killing both of us. I've had chocolate cake and desserts, but usually limit myself to a few forkfulls. I have to admit, it doesn't make me feel good...I usually feel a little light headed afterwards. Hang in there, girlie...we're all going to be just fine.

Marilyn....( Lots Of Big Hugs ) You know i was thinking how funny it is that some of us cant do sugar and some can...I posted about that a few days back....I have often wonderd if the ones who can do sugar gain back faster than the ones who could not...I still to this date too try and eat a candy bar...oh my talk about dumping ....and there are still foods i try and eat and dump also.....When i am dumping i tell myself ...see Misty you know that damn candy bar is what got you all that weight to start with and its your body telling you.... ( alright lil missy go and get you another candy bar you know it taste soooooo good...and when your done eating it i am gonna show you what happens to you when you dont stick to the rules...LOL ) hun we all do it...Cakes and pies and candy ...OoooOh so EVIL.. LOL
I am so sorry hun you had a bad day..And well for the bills thats a never ending story there..
Hugs Misty
Sorry about all the stress and troubles! That sucks!
I don't do so well on chocolate either - I avoid chocolate cake like the plague. I can eat small amounts of white or yellow cake, so long as they are not tooo sweet - but these are just a special treat and once-in-a-blue-moon to boot.
I don't miss chocolate - never was a chocoholic (unlike my MIL), so it's no great loss for me.

Marilyn,
I'm feeling your pain this morning. I took two bites of Angel Food cake this morning and am now praying for puke. I can normally eat a couple of small bites of just about anything, but no more than just a couple of bites. I've never had trouble with Angel Food cake before, but it will be a long time before I try it again.
