Good Morning
Good Morning everyone! Well its another day of the 3 H's - hazy, hot, humid. I'm not a warm weather lover and this year I'm hating even more so. I do have to say its nice hot having the extra baggage to carry around. I've not gotten the awful heat rashes that I've had in the past. NO more going to the doctor to get anythign that will make them go away. What I am having a major problem with is my HAIR. I lost alot of it after the surgery. It was coming out by the hand fulls. Had me very worried there for a long time. It was thin to begin with and I have to say I knew the risks. Fortuantely while it got very thin i didn't develop any empty spots. You could see the scalp pretty darn good! Well the issue I have is that now its finally starting to come back. No thats not the issue! The issue is that now that it is coming back it is coming back extremely curly. very very very curly. I'll never have to have a perm again! Sounds great doens't it? Its NOT. I don't know how to deal with it. Always had the reverse problem in that my hair before was straight and I couldnt do anything with it now its extreme curly and I can't do anythign with it. It frizzes and looks liike a brillo pad. very very very frizzey. I'm using all kinds of hair care products just to maintaine the frizzies. and with this weather forget it I might just as well let it frizz up stick a bow in it and start barking. I look like a skinny poodle. So. Anyone have any suggestions? Anyone have a fantastic hair dresser in the Norwich area? I need a makeover. Anyoen know Oprah????? I begged my daughter to send Oprah a letter telling her about how hard I worked to get thinner and my hair problem. She just said OH mom.
Hi Pam.
I have always had naturally curly hair, & it hasn't changed even after
surgury. I keep it real short, so I can't really tell you if its frizzy when it
grows out or not. Maybe just getting it styled after the hair growth will
help you situation. Good luck with it & hope you have a great day!!

That's odd--mine is curly for the first time in my life. As long as I take GNC's Hair, Skin & Nails vitamins, the fall-out stops. I wonder if the vitamins are making it curly too? The stress of the last year (physical and emotional) has pretty much turned my natural color white, as far as I can tell--LOL. It may be that the white hair has a different texture. My hair was all ways fine and thin, to the point of being limp. My hairdresser called it cat hair! Now it has a mind of its own--that is a major adjustment, but I'm starting to learn to handle it!
