HI Guys, How are you all doing??????......I am back to work. I had my surgery 7/15/05. For those of you that are wondering.....I had a mastopexy and a brachioplasty. MY breasts and arms. This surgery was and is a piece of cake compared to the belt lipectomy...oh man - that surgery was hard!!!...Well, I guess it really depends on the person. I am very excited about my breasts (no implants) I had enough substance to work with so he just basically lifted them and replaced the nipple. They look AWESOME!!!!!! My arms are a bit swollen still but I can pretty much do anything...like work - ha-ha-ha!!!.....For all of you seeking PS...I wish you all the luck in the world and please, please read your benefits book because approval is based upon the way your doctor words it. If your doctor is requesting "plastic surgery"...ask him/her to word it as "reconstructive" after massive weight loss and use all the right cpt codes necessary for the approval. I am going to take it easy this year with the surgeries. I am not done I was also approved for the thigh lift but I am not able to do it this year because I do not have anymore sick or vacation time left at work. I want to recover completely before proceeding with the thigh lift but I am looking forward to it. Thanks guys for taking time to read my post and congrats to all of us for being so strong since March of 2004!!!!!....It has truly forever changed my life!!!! Edna 255/130/???

congratulations edna with your new body! isn't it great what can be done now??? I didn't know about how the doctors had to word it could make such a difference. I'm sure to look into that. I'd love to get the boobs, thigh, tummy, and arms done. The thighs is that the inner? My inner thighs are nasty! I feel good about myself its not that I hate the way that I look I'd just like it better if it wasn't so jiggly.

Hi Edna, thanks for this post! I am scheduled for the matsopexy on August 23 - was going to have the arms done at the same time but I'm now given a totally different estimate of cost -- $4,500!! So, I will put the arms off for a while to see if I can find a different surgeon, one who will work harder (MUCH harder) on my behalf to get these procedures covered by my insurance. What is your insurance by the way? I am really looking forward to the matsopexy! Never in my life have I had nice -- or even normal - looking boobs! You've given me real hope in terms of how this might turn out for me! Take care, Reenie
