I take 2 prenatal vitamins and one calcium citrate tab daily. I also take biotin for hairloss prevention. I have not been told to take b12 but I am going to ask about it next week at the drs appointment. I worry about the timing of taking them and that I cannot take much calcium due to kidney stones. I think this is a scary area since there are so many differnt requirements by different drs.

Mike, Taking anything I can in chewable form helps me because I HATE swallowing pills. I have my blood work done every other month with my pcp and he's jealous of my stellar health. 2 chewable multis A sublingual B complex 2x a week 1200 mcg B-12 17 mg Riboflavin 20 mg Niacin 2 mg B-6 30 mg Pantothenic Acid 1200 mg of a generic calcium citrate Plus D, but I'm going to switch to the Bariatric Advantage. Hugs, Connie

Hi Gang..... Thank you all for your input. You've given me much to consider. When I last visited my surgeon 3 months ago, he said that my bloodwork was excellent. That was when I was still taking the Viactiv chews instead of the calcium citrate. I am still concerned because I have read that bloodwork doesn't always tell the whole story. I don't know if this is just someone's alarmist rantings or if it is based in fact. One of the problems with the wealth of information on the Web is that there is also a lot of mis-information. I think that I might talk with my surgeon again and also look into some of these supplements that are geared to us "Altered Tummy Types"!! Thanks again for your input...... You guys are the best!!!!! Mike
