I HEARD FROM CONNIE

Hi guys -- Connie sent me an email, she's been very ill and in the hospital -- here's her message: "I'm still alive - barely. Actually doing much better than I was. I had a bleeding kidney, impacted bowels, severe dehydration and a helluva virus all at the same time. I was a very sick girl. 5 days of a fever of over 101 will take a lot out of you. In addition, you'd think I would have lost weight with not eating for 5 days, but those IVs really pack on the calories. I've been back at work for the last week, but have been so exhausted that I usually fall asleep as soon as I get home. Haven't even had the strength to check up on the Marchers board. I'll catch this weekend. Thanks for checking up on me. Hope you are doing well. I'm off to bed." Let's all think really good thoughts for Connie so that she's back with us soon with all her infectious energy and humor. Please take good care of yourselves, my friends. Love to all, Reenie

Holy Cow Maureen! Do you have good intuition or what? Wow I am so sorry to hear she was so sick. Did you talk to her again and find out what caused all that? I can't believe the poor thing has been through so much! Thank you SO much for checking on her and updating us. Connie - if you get to read this - you are in my prayers! Dina

Wow is right!!! I'm so sorry to hear that she has been so very sick. I am relieved to hear that she is back home and recovering. Connie if you read this don't over do it at work take it easy and let yourself get better. Thanks for checking on her and letting us know how she is I too think that you might be a littel psychic. WOWZERS.....That's some scarey business!! I've been getting a little worried about Connie myself lately, Maureen. I guess that there was reason to worry. Thanks for letting us know. It really hurts to hear about members of the "family" having so much trouble. I'm glad to hear that Connie is recovering and am looking forward to her return to the board.
