I want to try a kayak on the cruise to Alaska in July. I have never done it before and I am hoping that it is not hard. I heard that they don't roll over as much as is thought. I would freak out if it rolled me under. Sounds like you had fun.

Hi Elizabeth!! Isn't kayaking great??!!! I finally got out in mine for the first time this year last weekend. I plan to be out in it again tomorrow. I paddled at least 3 or 4 times a week last summer and would love to find the time to do it again. The nice thing about kayaks is that you can throw them on the roof of a car and take them almost anywhere. You don't need a trailer or a boat ramp or any of that fuss. If you see a bit of water that looks interesting, you just toss it in and away you go!! In case you haven't guessed from all of this blathering, I'm a big fan of kayaking although I'm strictly an amateur. I'm glad that you tried it and enjoyed it too!! CHEERS!!!! Mike

That is wonderful that you are able to fit in a kayak. What a great feeling. I had similar feeling when I flew in coach on a trip to New York this Spring. I am working today and no one is here. The Corporate Office is closed. I have this long beautiful hallway that stretches around the Vice Presidents office and our CEO. I have my tennis shoes on and work out pants. I had the urge to SPRINT up and down this hall three times. I couldnt believe how fun, how fun and how cool that felt. Drink Myoplex Carb Sense Protein Drinks from GNC (Caramel tastes like a Starbucks) and swim your tail off. You dont have to swim laps...just move that body and it will fall off. Drink 2 drinks a day and swim daily or at least every other day from anywhere to 30min-90 min. The drinks are like getting 25 grams of protein in each. Do that I promise you will rock! I went from 279-134 in a year. Swimming will also help fight off any skin issues. You will have a flat stomach for sure. Happy Fourth!
