What me skinny????
I had the most wonderful thing happen today and i had to tell someone! anyone! who would understand!!!!!
I am an advertising rep for a local newspaper. I get to go to all kinds of business and try to sell them advertising into this newspaper. I won't bore anyone with that but let me tell you its a job I love! I get to talk with all these different interesting people, I get to see their businesess and if I'm lucky I get to shop! And they pay be for doing this. Its the perfect job! I would have paid them but please don't tell my boss! Anyways, I was at my first customer of the day. He was busy with another sales person.
In fact we were like an airport of sales people. All in a circling partern waiting our turn to sell him on the different things he needed. So the food sales rep was selling while me the advertising rep was in the holding pattern at the door when the liquor sales person came up behind me. The liquor guy had a hand truck filled with boxes so I scooted to the side and said can you get by or do you want me to move. This wonderful man with the hand truck looked me up and down and said Your such a thin little thing I can pass you with plenty of room. ME! I looked all around to see if he was talking to someone else then realized he really did mean me!!!! then I tittered. Yes I tittered!!!!! blushed!!!!! had this big old grin on my face and said I'm sorry what did you say????? gEesh I was fawning on the man! wide open flirting with him to get him to say it again! Batted my eyelashes tilted my head to one side I was a regular old flirt. awwwww life was good right then and there. I was so full of myself that later in the morning my big old ego got the better of me! Went to another customer still feeling my oats cause I'm alittle bitty thing now and parked my car up close to the building. As I was leaving the building this very nice looking man was walking across the parking lot. I was oogling him, shame on me and when he turned and smiled at me I smiled back and was trying very hard to walk without tripping on my new heels. Imagine my surprse when I realized 1/2 way into the parking lot that because I was all full of little bitty self I had passed my car right by and had to turn around and walk 1/2 that parking lot to get into it! Ok so this litty bitty thing has learned her lesson! Still was a great day!
