Wednesday morning

gang I've been busy getting caught up with work and life since we came back from vacation two weeks ago and feel like I've sort of neglected the board. I did get back into my routine last week with the gym which was a good thing. I was up at the regular time (4:30 a.m.) yesterday, but not to go to the gym but rather to get ready for my trip to AAMC to the OR for the procedure to place a uretha stent. On Thursday I will be having lithotripsy to break up the stone(s) in my right kidney. Since I have stones in both kidneys, I am thinking I will be going through this again for the left side some time in the future. The stent thing went well until I woke up!!! I'm not big on taking drugs but I decided that I would rather feel good rather than uncomfortable .. though not in 'pain'. I'm up this a.m to go to work and that won't be fun .. maybe when I get to the office I'll try one lortab just to take the edge off of the discomfort. Tomorrow I have to go for an X-ray to take with me on Friday and also drink a magnesium citrate ****tail to get my bowels ready for the lithotripsy. The prep is to make sure there is nothing to block their view of the stone(s). I've not done the magnesium citrate before ... I hope it's better than than the other stuff ... please don't tell me if it's NOT .. at least until after the fact We are still working on getting the new RV all fixed up with our own little touches. I had the remainder of a Hecht's gift card to use at Macy's and I've had trouble using it because I really don't like Macy's clothes ... so on Saturday I used it up in housewares buying some 'grill' stuff that was on sale. I got a grill light and a barbeque tool set (in a nice aluminum case) and a meat temp fork. I've been looking in the house and switching out towels that I have that are black and white instead of the blues that were in the old RV. Left to my own devices and with $$$ to spend on it, I'd be completely redoing ALL the accessories .. dishes, glass/plastic ware, sliver ware, etc. I have a lot of pillow squares for Dale Earnhardt and DE Jr that I am thinking of making a quilt from and replacing the pillows and comforter that came with the coach. I may have to enlist my sister's help on that project. I'm trying to get Mr Mo up for going to Woodhull NY to see a friend's daughter race at the dirt track there on the 30th, but since that is a 5 hour trip he's not really enthused about the idea yet. We may make it to the dirt track at Hagerstown that night anyway (there's a big fire works show after the races) instead. Well, I had better get in the shower and get ready for work.
