yesterday, my hubby was admitted to the hospital--after two days of tests--and many more to come..it was found that he has a mass on his brain and swelling around it, which seems to have caused the "dead weight" arm and yesterday's limp leg incident leading to a fall. the mass appears to be cancerous and more tests today should tell us and the docs what avenue to take re treatment. no...we had NO idea of this before hand. when i leave home this morning, i plan to stay at the hospital at least til tomorrow--i don't know what i am doing about work- i cannot afford to lose my job but i need to be with my husband. i will not have access to a computer til i get home . most of you don't know michael, obviously, however, he feels like he knows many of you thru all i have shared with him. please;if you pray, say one for michael.

Good Lord, Margo, I truly believe that God does not give us more than we can handle, but this is monumental. Michael is in my thoughts and prayers, as are you, as you both steer through these murky waters together. I can't believe your place of employment would not understand your need to be with your husband right now. God bless and God speed toward healing and health. Take good care, Margo, and keep us posted. Hugs, Reenie

Wow Margo; That is devastating news. There are really no words to ease this kind of pain. Just know that you and Michael will be in my thoughts and prayers. Make sure that while you care for him, that you don't forget about taking care of yourself. Both of you need for you to stay healthy! Big hugs and lots of prayers coming your way... Mike

Margo, I will certainly be praying for you and Michael. Last Wed. night my husband had leg cramps at 4 a.m. and he passed out twice before the ambulance got there. All his vitals were fine when they got there. I carried him to the doctor on Thurs. and he goes for a CT scan and brain wave test on Friday. He had prostate cancer 6 years ago and they want to do this test to be on the safe side . The doctor said we may never know what made him pass out. But I will be thinking of you all the time I'm going with Charles to have his test. God bless you and Michael. Judy

Margo, I just don't know how to say how sorry I am. You, Michael and the rest of your family are in my prayers. My mantra for all tough times is that God's will does not take you where God's love cannot sustain you. Many hugs and much love, Connie

You and Michael are definitely in my prayers! Make sure your workplace knows what is going on. If you need to take leave, the Family Leave Act will make them give you up to 3 months leave (probably without pay), but not allow them to terminate you. Many employers are more generous than that. God is in control, Girl, even when we can't see Him sustaining us. Joy
