I completed two legs in the 89 miles for the Law Enforcement Torch run yesterday. As this is Montana and we have a few mountains to deal with, most of rode our bikes. I completed one 21 mile stretch, and then all of us as a group rode in the last 12 miles to the delivery point. I can tell you I teared up a bit as I rode into town met by other cops with lights and sirens going. It was for a good cause, and it felt damn good te be fit enough to do it. The Sheriff actually called me an animal! Not bad, and another notch in the belt for a former fattie!
